This week we will review the proper PPE for a Hazard Risk Category 1. To remain safe when the Hazard Risk Category is 1, employees must wear:
•Arc-rated long-sleeve shirt, ATPV of 4 cal/cm2 or greater
•Arc-rated long pants, ATPV of 4 cal/cm2 or greater
•Arc-rated face shield or hood, ATPV of 4 cal/cm2 or greater
•Hard hat
•Safety glasses
•Hearing protection
•Leather gloves
